decision making

people think about making decisions under uncertain environments but with well defined objectives.

it seems that making decisions under poorly defined or undefined objectives is much harder (should i go eat good food or play .. how much do i value good food vs play?) .

And then there's the confusion about the principles used in decision making. Imagine someone who is bi- trying to decide whether to go out with a chick or a guy - his objective is pretty well defined, but he doesn't know himself well enough to know which of the two will get him, ahem, going. :)
