the sure shot way to cure an addiction is to overdo it until the point when it becomes boring. try it .. works every time .. at least with things like games/songs ..
I was addicted to RoadRash...till I stood first in all levels in all circuits...same with FIFA..stopped it after I won World Cup, Champions League etc...
